On September 17, RA Secretary of State Armen Grigoryan and Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehdi Sobhan had a farewell dinner on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission.
The Secretary of the Security Council thanked the Ambassador for his work and stressed that during the tenure of the ambassador, the Armenia-Iran multi-state relations have risen to a new level. The secretary congratulated the Ambassador for awarding the Order of Friendship and wished success in his further activities.
In his turn, the Ambassador thanked the Secretary of the Security Council for constructive cooperation and stressed that all efforts have been made within the development of Armenia-Iran bilateral relations. The Ambassador also stressed that it is leading from Armenia to warm memories.
The parties also discussed issues of mutual interest.
