Microsoft urges Urgent Refresh Windows because of dangerous vulnerabilities


Microsoft has released a Windows August Security update that refers to 107 vulnerabilities, 13 of which are classified as critical. Zdnet reports that the update refers to all supported options in the operating system, including Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server.

The update closes the main components of Windows, such as File Explorer, Remote Desktop and Hyper-V, the omissions and corrects mistakes of Microsoft Office, Edge and Teams. Nine of the critical vulnerabilities are related to the possibility of correspondence code, including CVE-2025-53779 zero vulnerability.

In addition, the update makes security changes to prevent possible breakdowns of CrowDstrike solutions.

Microsoft has called on users to update their systems, as well as reminders of Windows 10 users to get free security updates on October 2026 and advises to read detailed information on the company's official website.
