Google Issues Light Artificial Intelligent Model for Low Squake Devices and Smartphones

Google has announced the model of Gemma 3 compact artificial intelligence, which is designed for text data analysis, creation and structure. The company announced this on her blog.

The open source model has 270 million parameters, which is significantly less than the previous options, 1 to 27 billion, and trains for tracking user instructions. The developers focused on efficiency and compact. Gemma 3 can work on low-value infrastructure or directly on mobile devices, including smartphones.

For example, the Gemma 3270M model on Pixel 9 Pro smartphone has conducted 25 dialogs using only 0.75% of the battery charge. In the IFeval test that evaluates the ability to follow the instructions of artificial intelligence, the model has reached 51.2%. This result is higher than much larger analogues.

The main application scenarios include text classification, data structure, compliance check and creation of content. Gemma 3 is available for free from Vertex AI and can be downloaded for free from Hugging Face, Ollama, Kaggle, LM Studio or Docker sites.
