The study took part in 7,300 pins. Scientists have evaluated the risk of developing various pathological mental states through specialized questionnaires. Data on the diet of the participants have also been recruited.

The researchers found that the risk of food disorders was about 2.4 times higher than those who do not have skin problems. Even after taking into account factors such as depression and body image disorders, the probability remained high, 65%.

Scientists say that acne can increase psychological vulnerability, especially those who already have low self-esteem and dissatisfaction with their appearance. In such cases, skin rages become extra source of stress and can cause a distorted body of the body, as well as the desire to control strict control over food, and including the refusal to eat.

One of the frequent nutritional disorders is anorexia (restricting extreme calories and refusing food), Bullimia (eating too much, followed by disturbance. One of the dangerous consequences of such behavior is the deptitude of the body, the weakening of the immune system and the disorder of the internal organs.
