President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Culture and Information from Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
The delegation led by the Minister is in our country within the framework of participation in the events of Kazakh cultural days in Armenia on April 18-19.
Welcoming the Minister, President Khachaturyan stressed that such visits not only deepen bilateral ties, but also give a new breath to the development of friendly relations between peoples. He noted that culture as a manifestation of the spiritual identity of the peoples, has an exceptional role in bringing different nations to each other, to make trustworthy bridges.
In his turn, Minister Aida Balayeva thanked for the warm reception and hospitality, highly appreciating the possibility of holding the Days of Culture in Armenia in Armenia. He stressed the importance of continuity and deepening of cultural dialogue as a strong support for mutual recognition of peoples.
In his speech, the Minister wished him a congratulations to the people of Armenia on the occasion of Easter and Resurrection Day to the people of the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the ways to deepen cooperation between the two countries and related areas.
The parties agreed that the shortest and effective way to recognize the peoples is to be introduced to each other with culture, as culture is the language of values, thinking and historical memory.
