Scientists have found that hearing loss can testify about heart problems


British scientists have found that hearing loss can be cardiovascular disease, including heart failure. However, the danger of such pathologies is not reduced through auditory devices. The results of the study were published in Heart magazine.

Scientists have concluded such a conclusion based on the data analysis of the 164431 volunteer volunteers provided by the British Biobank. The average age of the test was 56 years old, and at the beginning of the study, none of the participants suffered from heart failure.

In the first stage, experts assessed the listening function of the participants using the test (so-called word perception threshold) test. It reflects the minimum sound of sound by which a person can correctly repeat the saying of 50%.

After receiving the results, scientists have started to control the participants. The analysis has shown that the risk of developing heart failure in people with moderate hearing is 15% higher than those who have good hearing. In case of heavy disorders, the probability increased by 28%. Scientists have said that even hearing users have not been protected from heart problems. The risk of heart failure increased by 26%.

The study also showed that bad hearing is associated with social isolation, psychological stress and high levels of neuroticism. These factors explain to 19.5% of the risk of increasing risk.

Scientists believe that hearing loss can be linked not only to local blood circulation, but also with system vascular disorders.

"The structure of Kochlea in the internal ear with high density and metabolism needs is vulnerable to vascular disorders," said the research authors.
