Prosecutors are calling for the arrest of former Bolivian President

In Bolivia, the prosecutor's office of the Tarija Department is seeking an arrest warrant for the country's former President Evo Morales, accused of molesting a minor, because he did not appear for questioning. The newspaper El Deber writes about this.

“We are already working to obtain an arrest warrant in accordance with the law <...> We have begun drawing up a protocol on failure to appear, without violating any rights, public protection has been called, and the new commission of prosecutors will take appropriate actions,” she emphasized local attorney Sandra Gutierrez.

It was planned that the ex-president would appear before the prosecutor's office to testify on October 10.
