The UAE has sent a humanitarian aid plane to Lebanon

The UAE has sent the first humanitarian aid plane to Lebanon since the beginning of the current crisis, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

"Following His Majesty's instructions, the President of the UAE has provided emergency humanitarian aid worth 100 million dollars to the people of Lebanon. The UAE, together with the World Health Organization, sent a 40-ton plane carrying emergency medical aid to Lebanon on Friday," the statement said.

Earlier, the UAE Foreign Ministry came out in support of Lebanon's territorial integrity and sovereignty and expressed deep concern about the developments in the region.
