As a result of operational and investigative measures jointly undertaken by the Chief Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Yerevan City and Shirak Regional Departments, and the Chief Community Police Department, it was found that on January 19 around 7:00 p.m., a 39-year-old man killed a 31-year-old resident of Metsamor and Arteni of Aragatsotn Marz. A 32-year-old resident of the village drank alcohol with his friends at his residence.
During that time, the 31-year-old man had an argument with the 39-year-old man about domestic issues. The argument escalated into a fight, during which the 31-year-old man hit the 39-year-old man with his hands, feet and various objects many times, resulting in physical injuries. died.
The youths then stole the deceased's mobile phone, which they later gave to the taxi driver as compensation.
As a result of the measures taken, the 31-year-old man was found in one of the buildings in Mush-2 district of Gyumri, and the 32-year-old man was found in one of the buildings on Baghramyan street in Arteni settlement, arrested and presented to the investigative department, then transferred to the place of detention of the arrested.
