"32 school buildings in Tavush need urgent repair
According to the data of the Tavush regional office, the buildings of 10 of the 76 general education schools in the region need major repair, 22 need repair or partial repair. Tavush regional administration informed that in 2025 it is planned to repair 5 schools of Tavush region (Sarigigh, Jujevan, Teghut, Tavush, Kayanavan).
If we keep in mind that the state programs are implemented less than the planned number, and the implemented ones are delayed for years due to the violation of the planned period, the condition of the buildings of public schools in Tavush marz will not significantly improve this year.
The students of Tavushtsi will continue to study in classrooms with unrepaired, discolored walls, worn floors and in bad condition.
