Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan informed in a note that the transport tariffs have been revised.
In particular, he wrote:
"Dear citizens of Yerevan, we have recently carefully studied your reactions and suggestions regarding the new tariffs for unified ticket packages. Our priority is to ensure the comfort of all residents of our city and listen to everyone's opinion.
In order to make changes on this issue, the possibility of revising the logic of tariff application will be discussed during the upcoming session of the Council of Elders.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and fair solution, taking into account both the demands of the people and the stability of the city budget.
Thus, during the regular session of the Yerevan Council of Elders on February 11, we will propose the following changes:
10 trips - AMD 2,000 - the period of use is 45 days, instead of the current AMD 2,200 and 30 days.
AMD 300: the usage period is 180 minutes, instead of the current 90 minutes.
1 day - AMD 900 - unlimited trips, instead of the current limit of 8 passengers.
7 days - 5000 AMD - unlimited passenger transportation, instead of the current limit of 30 passenger transportation.
We also remind that the following packages are also valid from January 1:
30 days - 9000 AMD: unlimited passenger transportation,
90 days - AMD 24,000: unlimited passenger transportation,
365 days - AMD 90,000: unlimited passenger transportation.
In the near future, during the same session of the Yerevan Council of Elders, other changes and additions will be announced, which will make the system more comfortable and efficient for the citizens of Yerevan.
