Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Moscow. The Kremlin press service reports that the Iranian President has planned a meeting with Vladimir Putin. It is planned that the leaders of the two countries will sign the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement during the meeting.
This document is intended to replace the existing agreement on the foundations of relations and principles of cooperation, which was signed in 2001 in Moscow.
The new agreement will cover a wider range of issues and is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Russia and Iran.
