US President Joe Biden will not take measures to block the TikTok social network in the US, the fate of the video service will be decided by the newly elected President Donald Trump's administration. This is reported by the Associated Press, citing an anonymous official.
As the agency explains, the Biden administration, three days before leaving office, decided to leave the task of applying the new law to TikTok and the possible blocking of the social network to their successors.
In recent days, the issue of possible blocking of TikTok has been actively discussed in the US, because, according to the law adopted in 2024, it should happen on January 19.
Democrats are also trying to prevent the famous social network from leaving the American market.
