Biden said he did not discuss the Gaza ceasefire negotiations with Trump

The outgoing head of the US administration, Joe Biden, announced that he did not discuss the progress of negotiations on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip with the newly elected US President Donald Trump. He said this in an interview with the MSNBC TV channel, which was broadcast on Thursday evening.

When asked whether he had communicated with Trump on this topic in the last two weeks, Biden gave a negative answer. He added that he touched on the issue "very briefly" during a meeting with Trump at the White House on November 13 to discuss the transition process. "I told him what I was doing and what could happen," Biden said.

At the same time, the president explained that the representatives of the current administration in the Trump team "included in the Gaza negotiations people who will deal with national security issues."
to explain what happens when cases are transferred," Biden said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office earlier confirmed the signing of a ceasefire agreement between Israel, the Palestinian Hamas movement, the United States and Qatar on the release of hostages and a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
