As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, yesterday the investigator of the Sevan investigative department of the Gegharkunik Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee submitted a petition to the Vardenis Court of General Jurisdiction of the Gegharkunik Marz, so that the court would make a two-month detention decision for the person found and arrested on suspicion of theft.
Judge Vardan Harutyunyan, after holding the closed court session and returning from the consultation room, made a decision not for two months, but for house arrest.
Therefore, the court did not release him, but made a decision that he should be under house arrest. And the person who reported that the real thief was found, the relative of the person who was placed under house arrest on the suspicion of committing that crime was also found by the police, who should be taken to the court today, because the investigator will file a motion to choose preventive detention against him.
