Russia is ready to facilitate the connection of Vietnam to BRICS as a partner country, according to the joint communique after the visit of the Russian Prime Minister.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is on a working visit to Vietnam.

"The Russian side welcomed Vietnam's active participation in the BRICS events in 2024 and expressed readiness to contribute to the inclusion of the association as a partner country," the joint communique said.
