Pablo Escobar's private plane turned into a luxury hotel (photos)

An unusually luxurious hotel has appearedof Airbnbin the popular rental service.

It is a converted cabin of a real Boeing 727 airplane, which once belonged to the famous drug lord Pablo Escobar. The plane was built in 1968 by order of Japan Airlines, and in 1981 it was converted into a private plane. It has changed hands since then and guests can stay there from £250 to £850 a night depending on the season.

This unusual hotel was opened by 41-year-old businessman Johnny Palmer, who previously secured the support of Bristol city authorities.

The owner of the plane reported that the plane was decommissioned in 2012. At the same time, real legends revolve around him.

It is said that for some time this plane belonged not only to Escobar, but also to an Arab prince, as well as representatives of the mafia. For obvious reasons, it is quite difficult to establish the complete history of this Boeing 727 after it was handed over to private individuals.
