"Tomorrow's court session will be essentially my last as a defense attorney.", Vardevanyan said, clarifying that he made such a decision after the developments surrounding the arrest of his protégé and party member Alik Aleksanyan.
He noted that during his eight years of active legal practice, he did not have a single client who was re-arrested after being released from the ban. According to Vardevanyan, Aleksanyan's case became the first such case in his professional activity.
