The Kremlin has not yet received requests from the newly elected US President Donald Trump's team to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, noting that it would be appropriate to wait for Trump's inauguration, which will take place on January 20.
"No, there were no requests, on the other hand, for obvious reasons, it would be more appropriate to wait until Trump takes office," the Kremlin spokesman told reporters.
