Nikol Pashinyan admitted:

Now he wants to seize the power without elections, so that he can strengthen his footing and only go to the elections. What is happening in Gyumri and the plan to organize a "primary" show that
1. Pashinyan's teammates in Gyumri have a zero rating.
2. if Pashinyan followed the law and called early elections in December of this year, the "Civil Pact" would have suffered a crushing defeat.
3. Pashinyan wants to appoint one of his teammates as the temporary acting mayor of Gyumri, so that he can collect at least some percentage with administrative, criminal and monetary levers in the upcoming special elections.
4. Pashinyan is afraid of any electoral process, be it national or local. After the elections in Yerevan, their eyes were scared and that is the reason why they refuse both the referendum, the extraordinary elections of the National Assembly, and the elections in Gyumri, trying to delay.
It is possible to remove Pashinyan through elections, be it extraordinary or ordinary.
He knows about it best and that is why he is afraid of the elections. He came from Gyumri on foot and due to circumstances became a government.
