President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan met with the President of the Republic of Kenya within the framework of the Fourth International Conference on the United Nations Development Financing.
During the meeting, the sides touched upon the prospects for the development of relations between the two countries. The parties discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation, in terms of cooperation on the platforms of economic, environmental and international organizations. Continuity of dialogue and exchange of views on international and regional issues were highlighted.
Special attention was paid to the 17th conference of the UN Biodiversity Convention in Armenia in 2026 (COP17). The Presidents stressed the importance of such conferences on the World Environmental Agenda.
The President of the Republic also noted that it will be glad to host his own partner of Kenya in Yerevan within the framework of the conference. In his turn, the President of Kenya invited the President of the Republic to visit their country, as well as proposed to mean the possibility of establishing an embassy in the context of further promotion of cooperation.
