On August 14, 2026, the prosecutor, with the approved indictment, submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court the materials of the criminal proceedings regarding 14 persons accused of giving and receiving election bribes.
The Prosecutor's Office reports that the criminal proceedings revealed that K.P., a supporter of the alliance of "Strong Armenia" parties participating in the June 7, 2026 elections of the RA National Assembly, and acting on behalf of the same alliance, after reaching a preliminary agreement with other supporters of the aforementioned alliance, including H.S. bribery to voters as disguised remuneration.
In particular, K.P., H.S. and L.V. offered to participate in the elections to be held on June 7, 2026 and vote for the said alliance, as well as to organize their relatives in the respective precinct election commissions of M.G., A.G., K.G., A.G., V.N. Contribution of MN, GA, LH, RA, SE and MG. MG, AR, KG, AG, VN, MN, GA, LH, RA, SE and MG accepted the offer to pay election bribe.
On June 6, 2026, L.V., according to the pre-arranged agreement, transferred 30,000 drams of election bribe to each of the above-mentioned persons.
During the preliminary investigation, public criminal prosecution was initiated against 14 persons. against 3 persons, according to part 2 of Article 219 of the Criminal Code, against 9 persons, according to part 2 of Article 218 of the Criminal Code, and against 2 persons, according to part 1 of Article 218 of the Criminal Code.
On August 14, 2026, the prosecutor handed over the materials of the criminal proceedings to the Anti-Corruption Court with the approved indictment.
