Police officers of Shengavit discovered a case of illegal drug trafficking.
According to the police, a 48-year-old man from Yerevan was found and arrested near one of the addresses on Nerkin Shengavit street. He is suspected of acquiring, using and selling drugs.
The man was taken to the Shengavit department in the "Hongchi" car he was driving. He reported to the police that there were narcotics in the car.
The car was searched as part of the criminal proceedings. About 33 grams of methamphetamine and 9.7 grams of marijuana were found. Marijuana droppers, a package of crystal-like mass and other items were also found.
The 48-year-old man was presented to the preliminary investigation body.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
