Armenia and Azerbaijan are discussing from which part they should continue the process after demarcation in the Tavush sector, there is no final decision yet. NA Speaker Alen Simonyan said this in a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, he writesLurer.com:
Referring to the regulations of the commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan on border demarcation, Simonyan said. "I think that the existence of that paper is a great victory for both Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is a bilateral victory.
This is the first interstate document between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and its implementation is one of the most important cornerstones of the independence and territorial integrity of both Armenia and Azerbaijan. And we will move forward."
Simonyan is full of hope that the process will have a positive course.
According to him, at the moment there is no decision on where to continue the demarcation.
He stressed that re-establishment of the border is an important issue.
Referring to the meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Kazan, Simonyan said. "The conversation is the same: establishment of peace, opening of communications and discussion about the prisoners," said Simonyan.
