Around 17:20, in the central street of the Burastan settlement, 24-year-old Armo D., driving an Opel Combo car, hit a pedestrian, 75-year-old Laura H., a resident of Ararat region, who was crossing the street at an unauthorized section.
As reported by Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee, called an ambulance, and the promptly arrived ambulance doctors provided first aid on site to the victim, then transferred her to the Erebuni Medical Center.
A criminal case has been initiated on the facts of the incident by the investigative department.
By the investigator’s instruction, the vehicle was taken to the special secured area of the Artashat Police Department. The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene, which showed he was sober.
