The newspaper "Hraparak" writes: "According to our information, the health condition of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, has deteriorated in recent weeks.
He did not attend the October 27 memorial ceremony to lay flowers at the monument, and he also canceled his participation and visits to several recent events, including the COP-17 events, except for the opening and one where he was a speaker.
According to our information, he is often not present even at the presidential residence. Khachaturyan, we remind, has been ill for a long time, and recently even people noticed changes in his appearance.
Yesterday, at the "Dvin" complex, the solemn award ceremony for the winners of The Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development 2025 was held, which was to proceed "under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan," but he was not present at the ceremony, despite the arrival of high-ranking guests, including the Queen of Spain and Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Nikol Pashinyan received the guests at the government and then participated in the Dvin event.
