We will use new methods and everything will go faster," he said. The second round of presidential elections was held in Moldova on November 3. According to the preliminary data of the Central Electoral Commission, after the counting of 98.78% of the records, Sandu is the leader with 54.97% of the votes, his rival Alexandru Stoyanoglo with 45.03%.
Moldova is a parliamentary republic, therefore, for full power, the president needs the support of the legislature.
