EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell condemns the massive shelling of UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) facilities in Gaza and calls for an immediate truce to allow access for humanitarian aid to the population.
"I condemn the massive shelling and destruction of UNRWA facilities. I support the call for an immediate truce to ensure humanitarian assistance and safe passage for internally displaced persons," Borrell wrote on X (formerly Twitter), stressing that "international observers and the media must be given access."
