Armenia's persistent attempts to sign the unfinished text of the Peace Treaty are nothing but an attempt to throw dust in the eyes of the international community and hide its real intentions. Elchin Amirbekov, the representative of the President of Azerbaijan in charge of special assignments, said this in an interview with Berlin TV.
According to him, Armenia is allegedly presenting "unacceptable proposals" to Azerbaijan and is delaying the negotiations. "Armenia and its supporters must understand that without resolving the issue of territorial claims stipulated in the Constitution of Armenia, it is impossible to eliminate the root causes of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and achieve a stable peace." , said the special envoy of the President of Azerbaijan. Amirbekov also stated that Azerbaijan allegedly stands for peace, and now Yerevan should take a similar step.
"The ball is in Armenia's court, and we hope that they will not miss the historical opportunity to turn the tragic page of our relations," Amirbekov stated.
