The Prosecutor General's Office of Brazil has accused former President Jair Bolsonaro in the trial of the coup, which included the assassination attempt on Silva. The G1 portal informs about this. Bolsonaro is accused of creating a criminal group to eliminate the legal democratic order and the experience of a coup.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the former head of state knew that Lula that was reported by Silva's murder programs.
"The program was presented to Bolsonaro's attention, who approved it," the publication quoted a part of the decision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
A total of 34 people have been charged with the case. The decision of the Prosecutor General's Office now should be discussed by the Supreme Court. In November, OLOBO reported that Brazilian police investigate several officers suspected of a coup attempt.
