The striker of the England national team, Marcus Rashford, has stated that he prefers to postpone the decision on his club future until the end of the 2026 World Cup. Earlier, the football player hoped to settle the transfer issues before the start of the tournament.
"I expressed myself as clearly as possible. I wanted any transfer to be completed before the start of the World Cup. And if not, I wanted it to wait until the end. I want to focus completely on the present moment. We are fighting for something special," Rashford was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
It should be noted that the 28-year-old Englishman returned to "Manchester United" after playing on loan in "Barcelona". The Catalan club decided not to buy the transfer of the player, and the player himself has no intention of moving to another club of the English Premier League.
Rashford's current contract with "Manchester United" is scheduled until 2028.
