The Supreme Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, convened an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of 27 EU countries in the format of a video conference on September 30 to discuss the situation in Lebanon.
A representative of the EU foreign policy service reported this to journalists. "We confirm that the high representative is calling an emergency informal videoconference today at 17:00 (18:00 Moscow - approx. TASS) to discuss the EU's reaction to the latest escalation in Lebanon," he said.
