Samvel Hakobyan, a member of the "Mother Armenia" faction, wrote on his Facebook page:
"We are still very "unprecedented", if not by force. The smallest capital of the region with the most expensive transport. The size of the city and the length of the roads have a direct impact on the prices of public transport tickets.
Larger cities with a more extensive road system usually require more resources for infrastructure, maintenance and operation, resulting in higher costs.
These costs are often reflected in ticket prices to ensure sustainable funding of the system. Conversely, in smaller cities where roads are shorter, operating costs may be lower, resulting in more affordable prices.
CPC lies and just wants to get into citizens' pockets to improve their lives. Boycott and don't pay from February 1."
