The government of Ukraine intends to return Ukrainians from abroad without coercive measures. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of National Unity, Alexey Chernishov.
"We have 20-25 million abroad, according to our calculations, there are approximately 32 million in Ukraine," he said at the national telethon.
- And we are starting the process of returning Ukrainians to their homeland. Let me say at once that the return is exclusively voluntary, there will be no coercive measures."
However, he did not say what specific steps are being taken in this direction.
Earlier, the Western mass media reported that the Ministry of Nationality, established at the beginning of December last year, calls on Europe to stop providing aid to Ukrainians in the EU and advocates depriving those responsible for military service of consular services.
