Journalist Nairi Khokhikyan on his Facebook pagewrites:
"The government of Azerbaijan has received our application to the UN Security Council for the right of return of at least 350,000 Armenians who were forcibly displaced during 1988-2023 and for the compensation of confiscated property."
"Araratian State" NGO appealed to that structure asking to compel Azerbaijan to recognize the property rights of native Armenians of Gardman (Northern Artsakh), Nakhichevan and Nagorno Artsakh and to give them the opportunity to return to their homes, as well as to give compensation for property taken from people.
The government of Azerbaijan is obliged to respond to our demand within the next 1 month. Armenians have the right to return their legal property and live on their ancestral lands. We are preparing for the next step."
