Relations between Russia and China have entered a new stage of rapid and more effective development. Chinese President Xi Jinping announced this during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing, China Central Television reports.
"In recent years, taking into account the complex international situation, China and Russia have developed a comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era, based on equality, mutual respect, trust, justice and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Mutual political trust between the two sides has deepened, economic and trade, investment, energy, science and technology, humanitarian and local cooperation have continued to develop, and people-to-people exchanges have become closer. Sino-Russian relations have entered a new stage of more efficient and rapid development," the Chinese leader said.
