Medvedev did not rule out the possibility of attacks on NATO military bases

Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, speaking about the possibility of attacks on NATO military bases, said that in the event of escalation, no scenario can be ruled out.

“As for specific military facilities, bases in any of the states. At the moment, if the conflict develops according to an escalation scenario, it is impossible to exclude anything, since the states that are members of NATO, in fact, are fully involved in this conflict,” he said Medvedev in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel, talking about whether attacks on military hubs on the territory of Romania and Poland are possible in the event of new attacks from Ukraine.

“You see, in light of what is happening now, unfortunately, I cannot rule out any scenario at all, even the most difficult and sad one. We would not want such a scenario, we have all spoken about this more than once,” the deputy chairman of the Security Council emphasized.
