The Department of Public Relations and Information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Armenia issued a message saying:
"Taking into account the alarms received regarding Gor Vardanyan's multi-series film "Wings of the Empire", the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the RA instructed the "Pedagogical Psychological Center" SNOC to conduct an analysis of the film and present a conclusion about it.
According to the conclusion of the "Pedagogical Psychology Center" SNOC, watching the film can lead to imitation of such negative behavioral manifestations, such as the use of tobacco by minors, disrespect towards each other, various manifestations of negative behavior, etc. Taking into account the conditioning of behavioral manifestations by the mechanisms of social imitation of younger schoolchildren and teenagers, as a result of watching such a film, the child can identify himself with the main characters and unconsciously begin to apply similar behavior. In addition, almost all the characters of the film are distinguished by unacceptable manifestations of verbal communication, the use of typical gestures of people with a criminal subculture, which can also be imitated by a child.
The Ministry of Education and Culture considers the involvement and participation of minors in a film containing elements of such a criminal subculture to be highly worrisome and unacceptable.
Let's add that according to paragraph 4 of Article 18 of the Law "On Children's Rights", "It is prohibited to have a negative effect on the health, mental and physical development, upbringing of a child, promote the cult of violence and cruelty, degrade human dignity, discredit the family, contribute to offenses dissemination of mass information and literature".
Taking into account the above, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has applied to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia to investigate the mentioned circumstances and take appropriate measures.
