The actors of "Goi" theater have been holding a sit-in at the entrance of the theater since November 7. During the sit-in that lasted for about 11 days, the creative staff of "Goi" theater, led by the chairman of "Goi" management board Sargis Arzumanyan, appealed to various structures, starting with the RA HRD office.
Their demand is: "We demand an interim urgent solution from the KGMS Ministry. The resumption of the work of the "Goi" theater until the final resolution of the issue by the court and law enforcement agencies.
To remind, by the decision of the government, "Goi" theater was merged with G. to the National Academic Theater named after Sundukyan, but the actors and creative staff of the "Goi" theater are against that unification, they want to act as a separate theater, they do not want to go and work in the Academic Theater named after Sundukyan.
They are challenging the government's decision on unification in court.
"Goi" demands that the "Goi" theater be an independent theater, that is, they have the right to create in their territory.
