Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Kremlin press service reports. The heads of states discussed the projects implemented in the field of industry and transport, as well as strategic partnership.
The telephone conversation took place in the context of the agreements reached between the countries in August 2024. "Mutual interest in the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and further comprehensive development of the alliance was confirmed," the message states.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, earlier called the telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev "very thorough".
