The head of China's foreign policy department, Wang Yi, congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on his re-appointment as the minister of foreign affairs of Armenia, as reported by the RA ministry of foreign affairs.
In his message, Wang Yi emphasized that currently China-Armenia relations are developing with stable dynamics, and cooperation in various fields is proceeding in a regular manner.
"Last year, President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan jointly announced the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two countries. I am ready to work with you to implement the important agreements reached by the leaders of our countries, to strengthen the cooperation between our foreign ministries and to promote the stable development of bilateral relations," said the message of the Chinese Foreign Minister.
Let's remind that the Armenian government submitted its resignation on August 2, because on that day the first session of the National Assembly formed as a result of the parliamentary elections held on June 7 started. According to the constitution, on the day of the start of the first session of the newly elected parliament, the government must submit a resignation letter to the RA president. On August 2, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed the government's resignation letter, which was sent to the president's office. After the resignation of the Government was approved by the President, the "Civil Agreement" party, which formed the majority in the new parliament, nominated Nikol Pashinyan for the post of Prime Minister, on the basis of which the RA President reappointed him as Prime Minister.
On August 3, at the suggestion of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan also appointed deputy prime ministers and ministers. Ararat Mirzoyan was re-appointed to the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
