Belarus lacks the management system of the USSR. Lukashenko

In modern Belarus, there is a lack of such a management system as it was in Soviet times. This was announced by the head of the country, Alexander Lukashenko.

During his visit to Vileika region of Minsk region, the head of state held a meeting dedicated to the development of trade in rural areas. The event took place in the administrative building of the district executive committee.

Entering the hall and seeing the prevailing atmosphere, the president admitted that he felt strong nostalgia.

"I cannot boast that the Communist Party played a decisive role in my life. Everything happened. But I must say, it may sound unpopular to any of you, especially our youth, today the system of governance that once existed in the USSR is missing in the country," he noted.

“So, problem and nostalgia. It is my firm belief that we lack that management system. I feel it the most. And he who feels sorry for the state feels it. These are my feelings, neither today nor yesterday," added the head of the country.

According to Lukashenko, having served as president for many years, he notices the absence of such a system of state management better than anyone.

"Serious personnel work is not enough. As much as I tried to build the management vertical and so on, it was still a salvation for the country and it still is, but the structure is not enough," he explained.
