Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Arye Lightstone, Senior Advisor to the US Special Envoy for Peace Missions.
The Prime Minister emphasized the role of the United States and, in particular, President Donald Trump in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stressing that after August 8, 2025, a stable and positive atmosphere was formed in the region. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the promotion of the agreements reached and expressed satisfaction with their progress.
Aryeh Lightstone conveyed to Nikol Pashinyan the congratulations of President Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on his re-appointment as the Prime Minister of Armenia. He expressed his belief that under the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan, Armenia will continue the steps aimed at the consistent implementation of its priorities and the strengthening of democracy.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of the TRIPP project, expressing confidence that as a result of solving the technical issues, the practical steps taken in this direction will be even more visible in the near future.
Thoughts were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
