Deputy of the RA National Assembly of the 8th convocation, former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan writes:
"Another period in my life has ended, the 8th convocation of the National Assembly. However, the struggle is ahead.
And today, looking back at 2021-2026. In the path of the Armenia faction, I and my colleagues, I can say that I have lived every second being faithful to my title and oath: I SERVE THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA, and we have fought as best we can, and I positively evaluate the work we have done both in the National Assembly and outside the National Assembly. in the street struggle, during the days of the Resistance Movement, the Holy Movement, during open meetings with our compatriots during the regional meetings, we were both excited, seeing their sincere support and appreciation, and we had the courage to listen to the criticism directed at us, and we represented and defended the state and national interests of Artsakh and Armenia in international instances.
I experienced great pain, seeing the depopulation and handover of our holy and holy Artsakh. we won on the battlefield with the strength of our spirit and at the cost of our heroes' lives, but the "real" ones, misleading the public with false promises of peace, brought war and defeat and were silent during the days of the genocide and national tragedy in Artsakh.
We have traveled an incredible path, we have left a unique trajectory, and the history of our service and dedication, I am sure, will be valued later. The spirit of our struggle inspired and united the opposition field.
It was an honor for me to lead the "Armenia" faction.
I am grateful to all my colleagues, and especially to the leader of the Armenia Alliance, the President of Artsakh and Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.
I thank all the devotees of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
I am grateful to the new forces, the members of the "Forward" party, who joined the fighting ranks of the "Armenia" faction, which has become close and dear to me.
I thank all our supporters and supporters.
I am grateful to all the truly great Armenians who, being persecuted by this government and illegally detained, becoming political prisoners, do not retreat from their nationalist principles and continue the struggle for the sake of the Motherland, for the sake of historical justice.
Tomorrow, the Armenia faction will come to the National Assembly with a new composition to continue its pro-Armenian mission. And I will continue to be next to the "Armenia" faction, as part of the alliance, supporting them with my experience, knowledge, and the full potential of my abilities in their further complex service.
As I have already mentioned, the cycle has ended, but the struggle continues. And only together, only by uniting, we can remove from power the power that continues to destroy the pillars of our state, attacks sovereignty, tries to erase the thousand-year-old Armenian national identity, attacks the Armenian Apostolic Church. The power that, although it condemns intolerance and vicious morals, is the one that instills hatred in our society, and is the supreme blasphemer and liar, must be removed from the helm of the government.
