More than 50,000 migrants have already returned to Morocco from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, 20minutos newspaper reported, citing local police sources.
As RTVE reported earlier, the Spanish Ministry of the Interior said that more than 48,300 illegal migrants have already returned from the Spanish city of Ceuta to Morocco.
"Security forces estimate that around 53,000 people voluntarily returned to Morocco from Ceuta in recent days, particularly on Thursday, following a massive influx of people," the publication said.
According to the newspaper, the number of returning migrants exceeded 53,000 on Friday evening.
