According to the publication, the smugglers operating on those routes announced that Iran controls some ways of transporting people, and some migrants get the opportunity to reach Europe at a discounted price, after which they have obligations to Tehran.
The newspaper also quotes the head of the British MI5 security service, who said that over the past year, the special service has uncovered more than 20 potentially deadly plots related to Iran.
