Trump did not rule out the possibility of negotiations with Putin

The newly elected US President Donald Trump said in an interview with NBC that after winning the elections he has not yet spoken with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he does not rule it out.

"I think we will talk," he said, commenting on his previous lack of contacts with the head of the Russian state.

Trump also noted that since his election, he has spoken with "about 70 world leaders," including Vladimir Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He added that he agreed with US President Joe Biden "to have lunch together in the very near future".
