Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, stated that Moscow describes the attacks by Kiev on tankers near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CSPC) sea terminal as a policy adopted by Kiev to destabilize the world oil markets.
The comment published on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs states: "We consider this attack as another confirmation of Bankovaya's desire to further destabilize the situation in the global oil markets. For him, ensuring global energy stability, as well as respectful attitude towards foreign partners, in particular Kazakhstan, with which the Kyiv regime allegedly wants to develop mutually beneficial and friendly relations, are nonsense."
