Dear media colleagues, I am not only informing you that from July 15, I will no longer be the press secretary of the CEC president, but in fact the press secretary of the CEC, CECs, the person in charge of CEC social platforms, the person answering citizens' letters, the photographer, and a number of other functions. "Anticipating possible speculations, I inform you that I made my decision months before the National Assembly elections, but for myself I decided to write a resignation letter after the elections, because as the Little Prince would say, we are responsible for those whom we tamed.
I have worked in the CEC since October 2022: during this period local government elections were held in about 10 communities: Sisian, Ani, Verin Dvin, Arzni, Yerevan, Ferik, Gyumri, Parakar, Vagharshapat and finally #АЖ2026.
Any information to be published regarding the elections was available to the mass media, not only to be published on the CEC website and social platform, but also in the form of press releases.
I consider it pointless to publish statistical data on press releases, interviews, press conferences, but I will present one data. I took over the responsibility of managing the CEC Facebook page with 6,700 followers, now it has more than 19,000, and in the last 3 months it has an average of 4 million visitors (never without activating the advertising service). Perhaps I should thank CEC for improving my knowledge in the field of marketing.
Before the NA elections, perhaps there was no structure and organization that I did not have some communication with. Thank you very much to those who helped to some extent, and to those who hindered. Thanks to you, I have done my job better.
I would especially like to thank my former colleagues in Yerevan, regional municipalities, regional governorships and a number of large cities, who, based on my request, joined the CEC information campaign and posted messages informing voters on their official social platforms.
I am grateful to CEC President Vahagn Hovakimyan for the job offer and effective cooperation.
During the period of my work, official information was available to all media, there was neither privileged nor denied media. This was one of the prerequisites for my employment, which, by the way, was maintained until the end.
As a journalist with years of experience, I of course have my opinion about each of the media, but as a public official, it was clear to me that I get paid to communicate with everyone and make information available to everyone. there are no dignitaries, celebrities, or people of ill repute in this status.
