On June 26, an extraordinary incident took place in Kotayk region. At around 10:40, the Nairi Department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that a teacher in a kindergarten in one of the villages closed the mouths of children with adhesive tape and then forced them to apologize.
The children informed their parents 3 days after the incident, who filed a complaint, but the director of the kindergarten said that "do whatever you want, I will not fire that teacher."
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, on June 18, the 31-year-old teacher of the kindergarten operating in that village created a game situation, during which adhesive tape was used. he first taped it to his own mouth as an example, and then to the mouths of three 5-year-old kindergarten students to draw happy and sad faces on the sticky tape.
On the fact of the incident, documents were drawn up in the Nairi department of the police, which were transferred to the Nairi investigative department of the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.
